How It Works
Resources
Use these resources for official LND reference material and the Voltage-specific connection pages for a Node-backed deployment.
Official LND API Reference
Section titled “Official LND API Reference”Use the Lightning Labs LND API reference to inspect services, methods, request fields, response fields, and streaming behavior.
LND Source And Protobuf Definitions
Section titled “LND Source And Protobuf Definitions”Use the official LND repository for releases, source, examples, and operational safety guidance.
Use the official lnrpc directory as the source for protobuf definitions. Pin a compatible revision in the application build instead of generating clients from an untracked branch.
Install And Operate LND
Section titled “Install And Operate LND”Use the official LND installation reference for self-hosted installation context. Voltage manages the hosted-node boundary described in the Node-backed documentation; do not replace current Voltage connection material with self-hosted defaults.
Voltage-Specific Setup
Section titled “Voltage-Specific Setup”- Configuration for the current endpoint, interface, macaroon, and TLS material.
- REST for HTTP integrations and REST encoding guidance.
- GRPC for generated clients, authentication metadata, TLS credentials, and streaming behavior.
- Node Security and Macaroons for access controls and credential handling.
Payments API webhooks remain active for Payments integrations.
ThunderHub and Terminal Web belong in Tools and Integrations, not in this official-resource list.
